Workshop: Setting Intentions
Moving Into the New Year with Awareness & Grace

The beginning of each new year brings an opportunity for each of us to pause, take stock in what the last year has brought us and set intentions for ourselves moving forward.
It is an opportunity to begin again.
Making resolutions to accomplish or gain specific things usually ends being discouraging, but starting the new year setting intentions to become more aware of your self and how you would like to move through the world can be extremely empowering and uplifting.
One of the welcoming components to developing a yoga practice to support these intentions is the compassionate invitation to always, begin again.
In this 2 hour workshop we will:
move through an all levels yogasana practice (the physical postures and flow of yoga practice) to practice intentional movement and awareness
sit for a short guided meditation that will encourage deeper exploration of your true self
take time to write and/or draw in journals
consider the meaning of intentions & explore some possible areas to focus by looking at the Yamas & Niyamas which are the foundation of any yoga practice
save time for tea and conversation to close our time together
